Section 6 - Shopify
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases, and general Shopify applications. Shopify stores your data on secure servers behind firewalls.
Payment:
If you choose to complete a purchase through Shopify's direct payment gateway, Shopify stores your credit card information. This data is encrypted according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete the transaction. Once the transaction is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted, and Vydpxnge only sees the last four digits of the credit/debit card used to make the purchase.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the PCI-DSS standards established by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI-DSS), a joint initiative of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure that our stores and their service providers handle credit card information securely.
For more information, you may also want to read Shopify's Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Statement (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).
Section 7 - Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, sold, or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information over the phone or by any other means other than through the Website, that information will be destroyed immediately after completing a purchase through the Point of Sale application provided by Shopify. The security of your information also depends on you. If we give you (or you choose) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any circumvention of the privacy settings or security measures of this Website.
